Armed Forces organize ceremony to honor families of martyrs

CAIRO, June 17, 2018 (MENA) - The Egyptian Armed Forces organized Saturday for the second consecutive day a ceremony to honor the families of martyrs of army and police at Al Manara International Conferences Center.
The event was attended by Awqaf (Endowments) Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa along with a number of ministers and Cairo governor.
The ceremony comes within the framework of the celebrations of Egypt and the Armed Forces with Eid el-Fitr.
At the beginning of the event, Gomaa greeted President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for the attention he pays to the families of the martyrs of the Armed Forces and police.
The minister further stressed that the State will never forsake its martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the security and stability of the homeland.
