Pope Vatican greets Azhar grand imam over Eid el-Fitr

CAIRO, June 17, 2018 (MENA) – Pope Francis greeted on Friday Al Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb over the advent of Eidul Fitr.
Francis wished good health for el Tayyeb, adding such occasions offered an opportunity for enhancing the ties among the people with different religions and cultures.
The grand imam thanked the pontiff on the gesture which encourage on the tolerance among the followers of distinct religions.
