Egypt seeks to import buses from Belarus

CAIRO, June 3, 2018 (MENA) - Belarus Ambassador to Egypt Sergei Rachkov said Belarus delegations from two automobile factories, including Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ), have visited Egypt to promote cooperation with Cairo Transportation Authority (CTA) and Engineering Automotive Company.
The Egyptian and Belarus sides agreed to examine means for Egypt to export buses and fire engines in addition to the possibility of assembling these vehicles in Egypt, he said in statements to MENA on Sunday.
He added that the two Belarus delegations visited a number of industrial projects and companies. He pointed out that a joint production line of Helwan Factory for Equipments and MAZ was opened in February.
