CAIRO, May 14, 2018 (MENA) - The foreign and irrigation ministers, as well as intelligence chiefs, of Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia will meet on Tuesday to discuss the technical file of the Grand Ethiopia Renaissance Dam (GERD). The meeting in Addis Ababa is meant to follow up the outcome of their first nine-way talks, which were held in Khartoum on April 4, said Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid on Monday. The trilateral technical committee had met earlier this month in the Ethiopian capital but failed to ratify an introductory report of the consultancy office, which is already okayed by Egypt. Hopefully tomorrow's meeting could find solutions to pending problems facing the technical committee, Abu Zeid said.
