CAIRO, May 6, 2018 (MENA) - Tourism Minister Rania el-Mashat said on Sunday that human resources training is a priority for her ministry in the coming period. "There will be a focus on the human resources training and development to render the tourism system successful", she told a symposium co-organised by her ministry and the World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO). She underlined also the importance of team work and collaboration with various universities and tourism institutes in Egypt in this regard. She added that cooperation with other bodies including the Egyptian Tourism Federation is also necessary. The symposium is held ahead of the 44th meeting of the UNWTO Commission for the Middle East, slated for May 8-9 in Sharm El Sheikh. El-Mashat praised the political leadership's support to the tourism sector, which, she said, has witnessed a remarkable improvement.
