By: Gazette Staff CAIRO, April 26, 2018 – Egypt's main index hit an all-time high above 18,360 points as the market capitalisation topped LE1 trillion (around $56.8 billion) on Thursday. The benchmark index EGX30 rose by 1.33 per cent to 18,363.29 points. The broader indices EGX70 and EGX100 added 0.6 and 1.1 per cent to 865.82 and 2,291.52 points, respectively. Volume totaled LE3.7 billion, market data showed. Arabs and non-Arab investors were net buyers of LE189.1 million and LE760.2 million, respectively. Locals were net sellers of LE949.4 million, bourse data showed. The EGX50 and EGX20 Capped indices added 0.66 and 1.16 per cent to 3,084.54 and 18,532.84 points, respectively. Of a total 177 traded stocks yesterday 88 shares rose, 57 fell, 32 remained unchanged, market data showed.
