Cairo, April 19, 2018 – Driven by an Arab bullish trend, Egypt's stocks rose on Thursday. The benchmark index EGX30 was up 0.42 per cent at 17,781 points. The broader indices EGX70 and EGX100 rose by 0.82 and 0.77 per cent to 867.15 and 2,273.1 points respectively. Volume totaled LE1.4 billion (around $79.5million), market data showed. Arabs were net buyers of LE122.75 million and LE10.6 million, bourse data showed Non-Arab institutions were net sellers of LE53.2 million, market data showed. Locals and non-Arab investors were net sellers of LE55 million and LE67.69 million respectively. The EGX50 index added 0.21 per cent to 3,015.22 points. The EGX20 Capped index slipped 0.1 per cent to 18,046.67 points. Of a total 187traded stocks yesterday 69 shares rose, 76 fell, 42 remained unchanged, market data showed.
