Cairo, April 4 - Egypt's Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) was re-elected as board member of the International Organisation of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), reprsenting the Middle East and Africa region. "The polss revelealed how much IOSCO values the role of FRA in supervising the financial, non-banking services," Mohamed Omran, head of FRA, said in a statement, carried by the official Middle East News Agency (MENA) on Wednesday. IOSCO is the world's international body that brings together the securities regulators and is recognised as the global standard setter for the securities sector.
