Egyptian embassy in Belgrade takes part in 1st Arab-Serbian friendship day ceremony

BELGRADE, April 2, 2018 - The Egyptian Embassy in Belgrade took part in the first Arab-Serbian Friendship Day, at a cultural ceremony held at the National Library of Serbia on Sunday.
"The Arab ambassadors were keen on holding a very-well organised ceremony that reflects traditional Arab culture," Egyptian Ambassador to Serbia Amr el-Guweili said in a press statement.
The Arab League Secretary-General and Serbia's Foreign Minister made opening speeches at the Arab event and the Palestinian Ambassador in Belgrade addressed the audience, in his capacity as the doyen of the Arab and foreign diplomatic corps in Serbia.
