Serbian Embassy in Cairo honored 70 students from Helwan University's Faculty of Art, for their distinguished artworks, during the inauguration of the Art Exhibition on Sunday, May 15. In cooperation with the Faculty of Art Education, the Serbian embassy sponsored the exhibition, where 150 students showcased their artworks, and competed for the embassy's prize. The ceremony was attended by representatives of culture and higher education ministries in Egypt, foreign embassies, Alexbank, and the Serbian Ambassador Dragan Bisenic, who handed the awards to winner students. "This ceremony is our way to support creativity of extraordinary talented and gifted the Egyptian youth and to encourage them to be constructive and powerful in the society," Bisenic said, emphasizing that the relations between Serbia and Egypt are based on long time friendship and mutual respect. The exhibition is opened until May 19 (daily from 10:00 am to 04:00 pm).
