Prometeon Egypt, part of the global Prometeon Tyre Group—a leading manufacturer of commercial, agricultural, and off-the-road (OTR) tyres—highlighted its commitment to local manufacturing, technological advancement, and sustainable development during MEA Industry 2025, held at the Egypt International Exhibition Center under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and the supervision of Lieutenant General Kamel El Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport.
Stefano Ziliani, CEO for the Africa, Middle East, and Asia (AFME) region at Prometeon Tyre Group, emphasized Egypt's pivotal role in the company's regional strategy, stating: "Egypt is at the heart of Prometeon's regional strategy. Participating in MEA Industry 2025 provides a valuable opportunity to engage with our partners and customers, showcase the quality of our locally produced tyres, and demonstrate how our technologies directly meet the needs of the Egyptian market."
Prometeon Egypt's participation in the exhibition reflects its sustained commitment to local value creation, sustainable manufacturing, and technological innovation, aligning with Egypt's national vision to build a stronger, more competitive industrial base.
At the event, the company showcased its latest tyre technologies and product innovations tailored to the evolving requirements of Egypt's transport and industrial sectors. The display underscored how Prometeon's locally manufactured solutions contribute to the country's industrial and economic growth while strengthening its export potential.
Prometeon's engagement at MEA Industry 2025 reaffirms its dual focus on innovation and industrial partnership, consolidating its leadership in the Egyptian market and supporting the nation's ambition to serve as a regional manufacturing and technology hub.
Prometeon Tyre Group is the only global tyre manufacturer exclusively focused on the commercial (transport of goods and people), agricultural, and OTR segments. The Group's multi-brand portfolio includes PROMETEON, PIRELLI, FORMULA, PHAROS, and ANTEO.
Prometeon operates four production plants—two in Brazil, one in Egypt, and one in Turkey—alongside four Research & Development centres in Italy, Brazil, Turkey, and Egypt.
