CAIRO, March 11, 2018 - Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will start an African tour on Monday, which will include visits to South Sudan and Kenya. The tour aims at boosting co-operation with the two countries and holding discussions on a number of regional issues. Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said on Sunday that Shoukry would begin his African tour with a visit to the capital of South Sudan, Juba, and would meet President Salva Kiir to sign a memorandum for future political co-operation between the two countries. During his visit to South Sudan, the Foreign Minister would deliver a shipment of logistical aid provided by the Egyptian Agency for Partnership for Development affiliated to the Foreign Ministry, Abu Zeid said. Shoukry, then, will head to Nairobi and meet the Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta to deliver a message from Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to the Kenyan president regarding ways of enhancing co-operating between the two countries.
