CAIRO, March 8, 2018 - Egypt's New Administrative Capital project has created 500,000 job opportunities for young people and attracted more investments to the country, Minister of Planning, Follow-up and Administrative Reform Hala el-Saeed said in a statement on Thursday. According to the statement, the total number of construction companies working on the New Administrative Capital project exceeded 400 companies, which managed to provide job opportunities for 500, 000 young people. Minister el-Saeed noted that the move to the New Administrative Capital aims to develop the work of the administrative authority of the state and increase its capabilities to implement sustainable development plans. The idea of establishing new cities, including the New Administrative Capital, aims at providing a decent life for citizens, as well as overcoming the challenge of increasing the population ratio, which is an obstacle to the achievement of development goals, Miniser el-Saeed said.
