PRE Group unveils 'MASSIV' phase at Big Business District in New Cairo
Published in Daily News Egypt on 02 - 11 - 2025

PRE Group has announced the launch of MASSIV, a new phase within its flagship Big Business District (BBD) project in New Cairo, featuring landmark towers designed by the late world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid. The announcement marks the first introduction of Hadid's architectural designs in Egypt.
Spanning 48 feddans, BBD is envisioned as an integrated mixed-use destination that blends office, retail, medical, hospitality, and branded serviced apartment components. The newly introduced MASSIV phase comprises 17 buildings with a combined built-up area of 40,000 square metres, encompassing finished office units, clinics, and semi-finished retail spaces.
According to PRE Group, MASSIV is projected to achieve total sales of EGP 19bn, with the first batch of units scheduled for delivery within two years.
Strategically located between East and West Cairo, BBD offers direct access to major transportation arteries and is positioned as a hub for business and lifestyle convergence. The company has appointed a number of international and local partners for the development, including Savills, Coldwell Banker, ACE Moharram.Bakhoum, NAGA, OMNI, and Zaha Hadid Architects, who are designing the district's signature towers.
PRE Group Chairperson and CEO Waleed Zaki stated that the launch of MASSIV underscores the company's strategy to expand its footprint through large-scale, mixed-use developments that integrate global design standards into Egypt's urban fabric.
He added that the entire BBD project is expected to record cumulative sales of around EGP 97bn, noting that the involvement of internationally acclaimed architects such as Zaha Hadid Architects reflects PRE Group's commitment to elevating the design quality and competitiveness of Egypt's real estate market.
PRE Group currently manages a land bank exceeding 12 million square metres across key locations including Cairo, the North Coast, Ain Sokhna, Alexandria, and Marsa Alam. To date, the company has delivered over 8,500 residential units across more than 16 developments, including Stone Park, ZAG, Ivoire East, Point 90, Hadaba, Telal North Coast, and Telal Sokhna, among others.
