Published in Daily News Egypt on 21 - 03 - 2023

Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly met on Sunday evening with Rudolf Klötscher, the board member of BSH Home Appliances, a subsidiary of German Bosch Group.
Madbouly said: "I followed all establishment procedures of the project and directed solving any obstacles hindering the process."
He congratulated the company's officials on laying the foundation stone for the home appliances factory in the 10th of Ramadan City, expressing his aspiration for the speedy completion of construction work, and then operating the factory as soon as possible.
During the meeting, Klötscher thanked the Prime Minister and all government agencies concerned with the investment file in Egypt.
Klötscher said to the Prime Minister: "We look forward to your permanent support during the next stage, as the factory will be the largest of its kind in Africa, and that the company intends for Egypt to be a center for access and distribution of its production to other markets."
Furthermore, the company's officials confirmed that the next few weeks will witness the start of construction work, as the company is developing a plan to complete these works as soon as possible.
Commenting on this, the Prime Minister reaffirmed his full support for the company, pointing out that the Investor Support Unit was established, headed by Randa Al-Minshawi, First Assistant to the Prime Minister, to receive any complaints related to investors, where work is being done to resolve these complaints. Besides, the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones plays a major role in overcoming any obstacles facing investors.
Madbouly added: "You can communicate with me directly, and my door is open to any investor."
BSH Home Appliances, a subsidiary of the German Bosch Group, will establish a home appliances factory, which will produce gas stoves in the first phase, with investments of €80m and a production capacity of 400,000 units annually.
