Egypt has ranked as the second favourite tourist destination among tourists from the Czech Republic for the summer of 2021, according to a report published by Czech website Prague Morning.
The website cited a Google report on the top five tourist destinations in which Czech tourists are looking to spend their 2021 holidays, with Egypt winning 21,845 searches on Google during the spring months.
It indicated that Egypt is a unique tourist destination, where the visitor can see its monuments and learn about its ancient civilisation, vibrant cities, and enjoy the picturesque Red Sea coast.
In a related context, the Tripadvisor website, which is considered the largest travel platform in the world, chose Cairo and the tourist resorts of Marsa Alam as the most popular tourist destinations in the world for 2021.
Also featured on the website's recommendations were the Giza Pyramids Plateau, a visit to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo's Tahrir Square, and Nile cruises as some of the best unique and most unusual experiences available globally.
These sites featured on the lists published by the Tripadvisor website to shed light on the best and most popular tourist destinations among travellers.
These lists are created according to reviews and ratings left by travellers on places to visit and things to do. They include recommended accommodation and restaurants in destinations around the world on the website.
