Minister of Trade, Volvo Buses' President discuss manufacturing fast public buses
Buses to operate via integrated solutions to serve new cities through use of AI

Egypt's Minister of Trade and Industry, Amr Nassar, met Håkan Agnevall president of Volvo Bus Corporation to discuss the manufacture of rapid and intelligent public transport buses in Egypt. The buses would operate via integrated solutions to serve the new cities through the use of artificial intelligence (AI).
During the meeting, it was agreed to expedite talks between the Egyptian government and the Swedish company.
Agnevall explained that there is full support from the Swedish government to cooperate with Egypt in this vital sector.
The two sides discussed the formation of a working team of ministries and concerned authorities in both countries to speed up the implementation of the project and its phases.
