Egyptian start-ups to exhibit slew of innovative products, disruptive technologies at CES 2019
Event will witness participation of 10 tech companies under Egyptian pavilion at Eureka Park in Las Vegas

Egypt, represented by the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), will take part in the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2019) under the "Time for Egypt" pavilion, with the participation of 10 tech-companies under the Egyptian pavilion at Eureka Park from 8 to 11Januaryin Las Vegas, the US.
The Egyptian pavilion, which is located at Eureka Park, will embrace the promising tech start-ups, which in turn will debut a slew of innovative products and disruptive technologies.
"We believe that the Egyptian start-ups exhibiting at CES this year have come up with ground-breaking tech products and innovative digital solutions which will really positively impact the IT-enabled services scene and the Internet of things (IoT) business landscape," said Maha Rashad, ITIDA's acting CEO.
The participating start-ups are preparing to showcase some of their best services and products to the CES's visitors. BotCommander, a start-up which integrates artificial intelligence(AI) chatbots without a need for any technical knowledge, will be featuring two key products powered with AI solutions with the aim of boosting e-commerce platforms, and other economic businesses.
SavvyTech, a technology-solutions provider in the education, e-commerce, and finance sectors, will unveil its Wander Pocket product, which is a digital payment solution enabling users to pay on the go for their daily purchases through a productive, easy mobile application.
Dippy Duddes is a start-up which specialises in designing web portals, provides e-commerce tailored made solutions and content analysis. The start-up will feature its flagship product called"The Shipping Spot", an online shipping platform which compares all shipping options that offer the most competitive prices.
Recently, the UN selected Egypt to host its regional UN Technology Innovation Lab, the first lab in Africa within its plan to deploy a global network of technology innovation labs across the globe.
Egypt has already established its reputation as a primary location for major tech players looking to establish their IT/ ITES global delivery centres, as well as their research and development labs.
