The Semiramis InterContinental is again supporting the Arab Orphan day for the 6th consecutive year as part of an aspirational corporate social responsibility program.In an outstanding initiative some 4,450 Egyptian children entered the Guinness Book of World Records on Friday after they stood by the Giza pyramids holding Egypt's flag for 10 minutes. The event was organized by El Orman charity organization for the assistance of orphans, Rotary International, the Supreme Council of Antiquity, the Ministry of Social Affairs and UNICEF. Sponsoring the event were top mobile operator Mobinil and the Semiramis InterContinental who is the official host and caterer of the event.A number of film and music celebrities and Unicef Goodwill Ambassador Khaled Abu El Naga attended the event amid media attention./p
