Egyptian Culture Minister Farouk Hosni announced the discovery of an ancient Necropolis dating back to 2061-2190 B.C. in the city of Ahnasia in Beni Suef, 120 kilometers South of Cairo. The discovery was made during by Spanish expedition affiliated with the Spanish National Antiquities Museum of Spain. The discovery included the pillars of the temple Goddess Heryshef. The find also included a relief bearing the various names given to Ramses II (1237-1304 B.C.) as well as a false door leading to a cemetery as well as other false doors and sacrificial alters. Burnt human skeletons and bones were also uncovered. /p
