CAIRO: Ahly and Egypt star Mohamed Abou-Trika will fly to Germany in 10 days to seek advice from a specialist about his foot injury. Abou-Trika is struggling with a metatarsal stress fracture that ruled him out of the African Cup of Nations next month. Ahly said on their official website that the 31-year-old should be in Germany as soon as chief medic Ihab Ali sets a meeting with the specialist. Abou-Trika has been hit by a number of long-term injuries during the past couple of years, most notably a nagging knee problem that forced him to miss long spells of 2008. Meanwhile, Ahly are considering a loan offer from Gaish for out-of-favor striker Osama Hosni. Hosni obviously doesn t feature in the plans of Ahly coach Hossam Al-Badri, who declared recently that the 28-year-old had enough chances. The Ahly-youth graduate has been struggling to establish his first-team place throughout the past three seasons under ex-boss Manuel Jose as well. Despite his unsettlement, Hosni has been included in Ahly s 27-man squad for the upcoming CAF Champions League.
