ISMAILIA: Ismaili board has decided to freeze the transfers activity as a new board will be elected later this month. We will put on hold all the transfers including Hosni Abd-Rabou s case. The new board will take the appropriate decisions, the club s director Abdel-Rahman Annous told FilGoal.com. Emirati side Ahly Dubai made a $2 million bid to sign the highly-rated midfielder and the deal should have been completed in the next few days. We have been under fire since the departure of Hani Saied and so we took our decision, Annous added. The club is in deep financial crises and we needed money for the pre-season training camp and to buy new players. But that s it. Saied, 28, was sold to Zamalek in a deal worth LE 7 million, but until now the move hasn t been completed as the defender revealed his wish to join Ahly.
