CAIRO: Egyptian forward Mohamed Zidan is on the verge of joining Saudi giants Ittihad Jeddah this summer, claimed Saudi reports on Thursday. Al-Eqtisadiah said that former President Mansour Al-Balawi is in the middle of advanced talks with the Hamburg player. According to the report, Al-Balawi is in Cairo now and the deal should be sealed in the next few days. Zidan, 25, played a handful of games for Hamburg last season and failed to be up to expectations. He has been linked with a move away from the Bundesliga side after his fall out with coach Huub Stevens.
