Ahly to play in Sudan

JOHANNESBURG: Egypt s Al Ahly will meet Tunisia s Etoile Sahel in Africa s Super Cup in Khartoum, Sudan on Feb. 18 after officials broke with the tradition of allowing the African Champions League winners host the match.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) want the Super Cup to form part of their 50th anniversary celebrations in Sudan, one of the four founding members of the organization, meaning Al Ahly have been forced to concede home advantage.
Al Ahly will be seeking a third Super Cup to follow up on previous triumphs in 2002 and last year. Etoile Sahel, who won the African Confederation Cup last month, have also had previous Super Cup success in 1998.
