Meet Australian Jessica Woods, one of the world's best female snooker players

Several snooker champions are currently participating in the 2016 IBSF World Snooker Championship, which is taking place now in Pyramisa Sharm El-Sheikh Resort.
Among these sports champions is the Australian and international snooker champion Jessica Woods, ranked thirteenth internationally.
In May 2014, Woods won the World Women's under 21 Snooker Championship, which was celebrated in the United Arab Emirates, becoming the world snooker under 21 champion.
In terms of her regional achievements, she won the Oceania Women's Snooker Championship three times: in 2013 defeating Geua John (4-2), in 2014 defeating Margaret Gorski (4-1), and this year in 2016, defeating Kathy Parashis (4-3).
Woods and her team partner, Theresa Whitten, have defeated the teams from India and Iran in the ongoing 2016 IBSF World Snooker Championship, but lost to Hong Kong in the 15-reds competitions.
Despite the rumours about Sinai being an unsafe place, world snooker champions came to attend this great event in Sharm El-Sheikh. Woods commented: "This is my third time to attend a world snooker championship in Egypt. In addition to this championship, I came to the 2014 World Snooker Championship, also celebrated in Sharm El-Sheikh, and the 2015 World Snooker Championship in Hurghada. Being in Egypt has always been a nice experience. I love the country and enjoy my presence here."
