Rosberg wins Austrian Grand Prix

Germany's Nico Rosberg won Formula 1's Austrian Grand Prix, the 8th race for this year among the races schedule by the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA).
With a time of 01:12.521, the Mercedes driver won over his English team-mate Lewis Hamilton, who won second position with a time of 01:14.076. Mercedes were this year's champions, winning seven titles.
Hamilton was given a five-second penalty for crossing the white line on the exit of the maintenance area, thus acquiring second position. Hamilton wanted to widen the difference between him and the third place driver.
The first round was a surprise after Spaniard Fernando Alonso had an accident with Finland's Kimi Räikkönen. Both race drivers were not injured however.
Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel lost third place to Brazilian Felipe Massa driving for Williams. Vettel lost much time due to a problem with his tyres. Massa won with a time of 01:12.158 and Vettel won with 1:12.115. This is the second consecutive time for Ferrari to miss the podium.
Finland's Valtteri Bottas, driving for Williams, was in fifth place with a time of 01:13.438, winning over Germany's Nico Hülkenberg, racing for Force India, who achieved a time of 01:13.821. Hülkenberg along with the Porsche team won the 24 hour Le Mans race. Venezuelan Pastor Maldonado, competing for Lotus, acquired seventh place.
As for the Netherlands' Max Verstappen, he acquired eighth position driving for Toro Rosso. By the end, Verstappen had difficulties driving his car due to a problem with the tyres. Force India's Mexican driver, Sergio Pérez, made it to ninth place. Australian Ricciardo Daniel, driving for Red Bull, achieved one point by winning tenth position.
