(Photo via Facebook) The upcoming cabinet reshuffle will include ten new ministers with the most notable changes being the ministers of interior and finance, Turkish news agency Anadolu reported Saturday evening. The cabinet is expected to make an official announcement Saturday night. Head of the Prisons Authority Major General Mohamed Ibrahim will become Minister of Interior, while El-Morsy El-Sayed Hegazy, a public finance professor at Cairo University with an academic interest in Islamic finance, is set to handle the finance portfolio. Three of the new ministers come from President Mohamed Morsy's Freedom and Justice Party, the political wing of the Muslim Brotherhood. Hatem Abdel Latif, a roads engineering professor at Ain Shams University will handle the transport portfolio, Mohamed Ali Bishr, the governor of Monufia will become Minister of State for Local Development, and Bassem Kamel Mohamed Ouda, who handled the fuel program in Morsy's 100-day plan is set to be appointed Minister of Supply and Domestic Trade. Two of the new ministers have been promoted from within government. Wael Al-Maadawy, head of the Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Navigation will become Minister of Civil Aviation and Ahmed Imam, the head of the Cairo Electricity Company will become minister of electricity and energy. Imam was appointed deputy minister of electricity by Morsy two weeks ago. Amr Salem, a criminal law professor at Cairo University, will replace former Minister of Legal and Parliamentary Affairs and Wasat Party member Mohamed Mahsoub. Salem occupied the same post under former Prime Minister Kamal El-Ganzouri. Atef Helmy, former CEO of Oracle in Egypt, will become the new minister of communications and information technology and Khaled Fahmy Abdel Aal, will become minister of environmental affairs. The new ministers are set to swear the oath in front of Morsy Sunday morning.
