CAIRO: Algeria manager Rabah Saadane said he has chosen Italy to prepare his team for the eagerly-anticipated World Cup qualifier with Egypt because it's where the Italian team held their preparations before winning the World Cup in 2006. The Desert Foxes are camping in Covercianno training center ahead of Saturday s clash in Cairo, where they will lock horns with their North African neighbors. Italy became the World Cup champion after preparing in the same place before moving to Germany, Saadane told Echoroukonline. I don't pay attention to the prevailing weather conditions because what really matters for me is the concentration of the players before the match. Saadane seems unfazed by the prospect of missing any of his important players against Egypt, stressing that subs have what it takes to step in.
