ISMAILIA: Ismaili center-half Sherif Abdel-Fadil announced that he would rather stay with his current, provided that the coastal side offer him an improved contract. The 26-year-old has been restless for quite a while, as he couldn t reach an agreement with the Dervishes over a new deal. Meanwhile, Ahly and Zamalek are in the hunt for the services of the international defender, who previously insinuated that we would join the White Knights if Ismaili didn t meet his financial demands. Abdel-Fadil eventually admitted that he prefers to remain an Ismaili player, but insists on signing a lucrative contract this summer. I really want to stay at Ismaili, I just want to be handed a good-paying contract like rest of the key players within the team, he told FilGoal.com. I ve spent the last nine seasons at Ismaili, and moving away is not exactly my first choice.
