Zamalek have called on Ismaili to value their defender Sherif Abdul-Fadil in case they agree to offload him in the close season. A Zamalek senior official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told FilGoal.com that both clubs have reached a verbal agreement that Abdul-Fadil will join Zamalek if the Dervishes decide to sell him. The international defender received a multitude of offers this summer, after Ismaili were plagued with a financial crisis. But Ismail board member Khaled Farw assured that all these bids were turned down, as the club haven't agreed yet to let him go. "We haven't decided to offload Abdul-Fadil or any other player, and the boardroom made no decision to transfer list anyone," he said. The Ismaili center-half had previously threatened to leave the club if he wasn't offered an improved contract. Abdul-Fadil's current contract includes a €650,000 release clause, but in all cases his departure is contingent upon Ismaili's approval.
