The Rotary Club Le Caire-Champollion presented an assisted ventilation machine for pre-matured new born children to the Mounira Hospital. Club President Daniel Leroux led members of club in a visit to the hospital where they presented the machine to hospital director Dr Hossam El Khatib. This comes in accordance with Rotary International's recommendations this year to focus on child survival. The club raised funds for the LE 80,000 machine through the public musical and poetry recital "Amber and Light," which it organized at the Cairo Opera House on Nov. 25, 2007, featuring performances by Lebanese poet Mona Ghatass. The club also credited its former president Paul Antaki for his efforts in fundraising. In the picture, Leroux offers El Khatib the Club's flag in front of the machine in the pre-matured section./p
