DAMAC Properties hosts Academy Agent Partners
Published in Daily News Egypt on 07 - 02 - 2008

CAIRO: "The main purpose of the DAMAC Agents Academy, the first of its kind in the region, is to equip agents with product knowledge; raising the bar and setting a service benchmark in the real estate market, said Peter Riddoch, CEO of DAMAC Properties.
The real estate developer organized on Jan. 29 an event for members of the DAMAC Agents Academy (DAA) and DAMAC Agent Partners at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Cairo, according to a press statement.
The DAMAC Agents Academy is a project that offers sales training certification courses for its agents. Teaming up with the Canadian Professional Sales Association (CPSA), the academy offers Agent Partners an opportunity to hone their selling skills to international standards through the Certified Sales Professional (CSP) program. The CSP certification is offered through DAMAC for the first time outside of Canada.
The Academy provides in-house training on the DAMAC brand and its value, the sales process, luxury property selling skills and real estate law.
"The CPSA is a global leader in sales certification and founded its sales institute to ensure the sales profession is recognized for the critical role it plays in business development, revenue generation and customer satisfaction, said Ziad El Chaar, general manager-international of DAMAC Properties.
DAMAC is the only developer to offer sales certification to Agent Partners, and the only developer to introduce international standards for agents in the Middle East real estate sector. Agents who gain this certification join the ranks of over 2,000 others who have met the rigorous standards set by the CPSA sales institute.
A CSP designation identifies the holder as a highly qualified sales professional, who among many other attributes, possesses a commitment to abide by a strict and professional code of ethics; a crucial factor towards the success of Egypt's booming real estate market.
