Citibank honored 27 Auto Dealers and Distributors for the outstanding performance and the record sales achievements during 2007 in cooperation with Citibank. "Citibank's celebration has become a tradition through which we honor our partners of success" said Amr Nosseir, Head of Auto Loan Business at Citibank. "Every year the bank strives to support and enrich the event with new ideas and unprecedented surprises. This year's surprise was the nomination and announcement of "Hyundai Verna" as the "top brand" sold with Citibank' financing program during 2007. He pointed out that figures and reports issued by the Automotive Marketers' Information Council (AMIC) and the Egyptian Association for Car Makers, showed that the demand percentage of credit purchasing figure during 2007 reached 42 percent while this year this percentage is expected to grow further to reach 52 percent./p
