DAMAC started the first phase of construction on Park Avenue, a mixed-use retail and office development located on the Cairo-Alex Desert Road. Excavation of the 135,240 square meters of land on which the project is to be built began Wednesday. "This is an exciting phase in the development of DAMAC's first Park Avenue project, and follows the great success of and high demand for retail and office space within Park Avenue," said Ziad Al Chaar, general manager-international.
