Ethiopia, Egypt fans ready for May 25 friendly

CAIRO and ADDIS ABABA: Egypt and Ethiopia announced that they would play a friendly football match in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, on May 25. The announcement comes as both hope to build on recent success and qualify for the 2014 World Cup.
“I am really excited because we haven't played Ethiopia in long time so this should be a good test for us because they have recently done decently, making the African Cup,” said Samir Radwan, a 25-year-old waiter at a local coffeehouse.
“It will be good for Egypt too because we are still facing so much problems and football is good to help calm people,” he told Bikyanews.com.
The game with Egypt will be warm up for the Ethiopian team who will play against Botswana, South Africa and Centeral African Republic for the 2014 World Cup qualifier.
