Malaysia can use MyExpressBus.com for online bus ticketing

KUALA LUMPUR: Taking the express bus and luxury coach to popular tourist destinations in Malaysia just got easier with MyExpressBus.com offering online bus ticketing service to destinations in Peninsular Malaysia and Southern Thailand.
The new service enables travelers to book bus tickets online from their home desktops, office computers or mobile devices while on the go.
The online bus ticket booking engine will make it easier for travelers to select the bus companies and schedule to suit their travel plan between popular destinations such as Singapore, Leogoland(Johor), Malacca, Kuala Lumpur, Genting Highlands, Ipoh and Penang. Travelers can choose between the standard 40-seater express bus, the spacious 27-seater VIP coach or 18-seater luxury coach.
Four Million Visitors Traveled by Buses to Malaysia
According to numbers published on Express Bus Agencies Association‘s website (http://www.ebaa.sg), out of the 24 millions visitors to Malaysia in 2011, about 4 million visitors traveled from Singapore to Malaysia by express buses and excursion coaches.
“Nowadays, online booking of air tickets and hotel reservations has become the norm. Travelers expect the same level of convenience when booking express bus tickets. Hence the implementation of online bus ticketing service is the natural step forward to make bus travel hassle free, help to save time and reduce cost,” said Lim Phing Phing, owner of the express bus travel website, MyExpressBus.com.
Travelers can book tickets at their convenience and in the process save precious time and money by giving a miss to that additional trip to the bus ticketing office. The new online booking service also makes it convenient for tourists who wish to plan their trip by express bus from Singapore to Malaysia.
Fly to KLIA and Take the Express Bus to Your Destination
For tourists arriving at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, they can make use of the online booking to reserve their seats for onward journey by express bus directly to Ipoh, Sitiawan (near Lumut, gateway to Pangkor Island) and Teluk Intan without the need to stop by Kuala Lumpur.
Currently, there are more than 200 express bus routes served by over 27 bus operators from Singapore and Malaysia. Be it Genting Highlands, Malacca, Penang, Ipoh or further destinations in Southern Thailand, tourists can get their bus tickets reserved online and plan their trip accordingly.
