ADDIS ABABA: In the framework of the preparations for the Second All Africa Energy Week, the Conference of Energy Ministers of Africa (CEMA) and the Pan African Energy Investment Forum to be held from November 12 to 16 in Addis Ababa, the African Union Commission's Department of Infrastructure and Energy is holding two days of preparatory meetings, from September 13 to 14. The meeting is considering the CEMA work program, documents, budget, administrative and organizational matters as well as a communication strategy. Speaking as he kicked off the meeting today on behalf of the Commissioner of Infrastructure and Energy, the Department's Director Aboubakari Baba Moussa reiterated the high priority position that energy provision occupies in Africa's efforts to develop and integrate.
