The Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa will host Monday a preparatory meeting for the Third Arab-African Summit, to be held in Kuwait next year. In statements before leaving to Addis Ababa, Kuwait Permanent Delegate to the Arab League Jamal Ghoneim disclosed that the meeting will be attended by representatives of the Arab League, African Union and host country, Kuwait. Ghoniem pointed out that the meeting, to be chaired by Kuwait, will discuss the technical, logistical, administrative preparation for the summit. "The African Union greatly appreciates Kuwait's role as linking bridge between the Arab world and African continent," he told KUNA, citing the AU's invitation to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to attend the last African Union Summit in Addis Ababa.
