SINGAPORE: Singapore police have reported they arrested three men at Resorts World Sentosa on charges of attempting to traffic methamphetamine. Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) officers reported that they had received a tip that the men were at the Resorts World Sentosa (RWS), and last Wednesday raided their room, discovering methamphetamine, known locally as Ice, and other drug paraphernalia, a CNB spokesman reported to local media. CNB told The New Paper on Saturday that three Singaporean men were arrested at RWS for suspected drug abuse, adding that 1.5 grams “of Ice and drug utensils were found in two of the men's belongings.” The men could face the death penalty if convicted of drug trafficking in the island country.
