NAIROBI: The Kenya ICT Board hosted HyTechPro a web and application company that provides e-learning solutions. The company met with various representatives from the Kenya ICT Board, the Ministry of Information and Communication, National Center of Innovation and the Kenya Investment Authority (KenInvest). Rajeev Gupta, Co-founder and Director at HyTechPro said that in a bid to achieve the Vision 2030, there is need for our sectors to shift focus from the usual traditional classrooms to more integrated classrooms where technology is a key factor. “Kenya is a growing economy and we were impressed by the focus on Vision 2030. To achieve the Vision's goals, there is need for a large talent pool that cannot be taken care of in the traditional classroom method. There will be need to integrate technology to improve quality and help in the teacher, student ratio,” said Rajeev Gupta. He added: “We are very impressed by what the country has to offer. We will definitely be back within the year with a more concrete plan.” HyTechPro focuses on various aspects of e-learning solutions such as: virtual learning environment, online examinations, content sharing and collaboration, voice over IP and audio and video streaming.
