CAIRO: The former presidential hopeful, the former Director of the International Atomic Energy Agency IAEA, and reformist leader, Dr. Mohammed ElBaradei, announced on Monday, that he will assume the position of a “cofounder” of a new Political Party entitled The Revolution, according to a statement by his information bureau. The statement said that the party aims to reunite Egyptians and is meant to be a coalition of all civil forces, so that every Egyptian citizen finds himself represented in it. Sources pointed out to Egyptian media that the party will include the membership of intellectuals and public figures such as the prominent thinker Dr. Gala Amin, Dr. Hossam Eissa, professor of international law, writer Dr. Alaa El Aswani, ambassador Shoukry Fouad, activist Gameela Ismail, George Ishak, and a number of actors, filmmakers, along with a number of the youth of the revolution.
