CAIRO: Egypt's Foreign Minister Mohammed Kamel Amr condemned the repeated Israeli violations against al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, which has increased in intensity recently, saying that the international community “has to bear its responsibilities in this regard.” Amr stressed, in a press statement on the eve of his departure to participate in the International Conference to be held by the Arab League in Doha on Jerusalem, that Egypt “cannot accept, condone or remain silent about the storming of the mosque by the Israeli forces.” He stressed that the policies and procedures carried out by Israel in Jerusalem, in general, “represent a drastic infringement of international legitimacy as well as a clear provocation to the feelings of the Palestinians and the Arabs and the followers of divine religions.” Amr said that all Israeli settlement policies, as well as plans of Judaizing Jerusalem, “represent a clear violation of international law, which considers East Jerusalem as an occupied territory.” BM ShortURL: http://goo.gl/XDnUR Tags: Aqsa, Israel, Jerusalem, Violations Section: Egypt, Latest News, Palestine
