AC Milan, Juventus remain atop Serie A

Rome (dpa) – AC Milan won 2-0 at Atalanta Sunday to remain Serie A joint-leaders with Juventus, who edged bottom-side hosts Lecce 1-0.
The two powerhouses have 37 points from 17 games, with Udinese trailing two points adrift through an earlier 4-1 defeat of 10-man Cesena.
Montenegro's Stevan Jovetic scored a brace as Fiorentina beat Novara 3-0, Cagliari also won 3-0 against 10-man Genoa, Francesco Totti converted two penalties in Roma's 2-0 win over Chievo and Bologna beat 10-man Catania 2-0. Palermo v Napoli closes the round late Sunday.
As the league resumed Saturday after a two-week break, Inter Milan hammered Parma 5-0 with a brace from Diego Milito. Mattia Destro and also scored braces for mid-table Siena in a 4-0 drubbing of fourth-placed Lazio.
