Published in Bikya Masr on 25 - 10 - 2011

Genpact Limited, a business process and technology management company announced yesterday the opening of a new branch in Dubai. The new global delivery centre will service clients in the Middle East and North Africa.
The centre will provide a wide variety of business services such as claims processing, customer service, collections, finance and accounting as well as analytics and risk-related services for their clients. Genpact is a licensed partner of the Dubai Outsource Zone (DOZ).
“We are delighted to begin operations in Dubai and hope to grow this center into a 500-person center in the next three years,” said Tiger Tyagarajan, President and CEO, Genpact, speaking at the opening.
“Not only will the center deliver business impact through our uniquely scientific Smart Enterprise Processes (SEP) framework, it will also help our clients make smarter business decisions through our Smart Decision Services comprising analytics and research, reengineering and risk management.”
With the opening of the new centre, Genpact now has such establishments in 17 countries around the globe.
During the inauguration of the centre the Managing Director of Dubai Internet City and Dubai Outsource Zone, Malek Al Malek, welcomed Genpact.
“[Genpact's] decision to set up base as a DOZ licensed partner adds significant value to the UAE's business and professional landscape and gives corporations access to internationally benchmarked business processes. Genpact's regional operations at the free zone will also allow them to service the wider markets more efficiently as well as offer easy access to a vast talent pool.”
In addition to providing business process management services out of Dubai, Genpact will also be working with clients to improve the effectiveness of their IT infrastructure.
