Egypt gets draw with Brazil at U-20 World Cup

Egypt shocked the youth football world on Friday, earning a draw with global giants Brazil in the opening day of the Under-20 World Cup. The 1-1 draw brought back memories of Egypt's magical run in 2001.
The Brazilians got on the score sheet first with a 12th minute header by Danilo from a corner, but the Egyptians were not deterred, equalizing in the 26th minute from Omar Gaber.
Overall, Egypt looked the better team, attacking sharply and maintaining stinginess on the defensive side.
Brazil and Egypt each have one point in Group E, the same as Austria and Panama, who drew 0-0 in a match earlier on Friday.
Egypt now turns its attention to Panama and has already made a splash as one of the underdogs with a chance to steal the title, although it is still quite early in the tournament.
Brazil face Austria in their next group match.
