Radio Algeria's channel two waited two days before deciding to postpone their broadcast of “Between the Beaches,” from the city of Tenes, Algeria. Tenes is a small port in northern Algeria. The town is host to beaches and Roman Ruins. Ostensibly the radio program would have given the tourist village a boost. The mayor blamed bureaucracy for the holdup, saying that the interests of Telecom Algeria were put before the towns' in the era of “the communications revolution.” BM
