CAIRO: Leading human rights reading and former Amnesty International employee Amr Gharbia has been reported missing by activists. He was last seen being attacked by unknown assailants during an attack against a march from Cairo's Tahrir Square to the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) on Saturday night. According to eye witnesses, a group of attackers allegedly grabbed him, took his belongings and dragged him away. The most recent information available as of late Saturday evening is that he was handed over to military police. His whereabouts are unknown. A few thousand Egyptian demonstrators marched to the Abbassiya neighborhood on Saturday late afternoon to deliver their demands to the SCAF leadership. Upon arrival they were met with attacks from area residents, who threw rocks and molotov cocktails at the largely peaceful protest.
