CAIRO: Egypt's prime minister, Ahmed Shafik announced on Tuesday that a monthly pension of LE1500 will be provided to martyrs's families of the January 25 revolution. The minister of finance has accordingly declared that a list of all the martyrs' names will be immediately formulated and the victims' families will be notified of the necessary documents and procedures. More than 300 people were killed during Egypt's revolution that ended the 30-year rule of Hosni Mubarak. Thousands more have been injured in the violence after government forces attacked protesters a number of times throughout the 18-days of protests. The military is now in power. BM
