The Auburn Tigers were down 20-7 at one point but came back in the second half as they improved their record to 4-0. The Gamecocks of South Carolina fumbled twice in the fourth quarter which led to scores by the Auburn aiding their comeback efforts. Even after they gave up two touchdown lead South Carolina still had an opportunity to win only being down eight. They drove into Auburn territory twice late in the fourth quarter but both times the drives ended with interceptions thrown by backup quarterback Connor Shaw.
UCLA 34 No.7 Texas 12
After starting 0-2 the UCLA Bruins have bounced back with two wins over ranked teams. The Texas Longhorns had four turnovers in the first half and the Bruins took advantage of them as they jumped to an early lead and never looked back. Texas' offense was out of sync all afternoon and their defense could not stop Jonathan Franklin. He rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown for the Bruins as they ate up time in the second half and handed the Longhorns they first loss at home since 2007.

Led by Mark Ingram, who rushed for 157 yards, the Alabama Crimson Tide scored a late touchdown and escaped Fayetteville with their 18th consecutive win. The Razorbacks led most of the game but let the game slip away in the fourth quarter in front of 76,808 home fans.
