Egypt's Administrative Court, headed by Advisor Hassouna Tawfiq Vice Chairman of State Council, has dismissed the litigation filed by Tawfeeq Okasha, El-Fara'in channel's Chairman, to rebroadcast the channel after the end of its halting period on Sep. 23. In his lawsuit, Okasha has litigated against Information Minister “Salah Abdel-Ma'soud”, Minister of Investment and Chairman of General Authority for Investment “Osama Salah”, Prime Media Free Zone, The Egyptian Company for Satellites' Chairman, and Chairman of “Maspero”, Radio and TV Union. On Aug. 9, Media Free Zone's board of directors issued an administrative decision to stop broadcasting “El-Fara'in” channel for 45 days, starting from Thursday Aug. 9, according to the litigation. Although the 45 days had passed, the administrative authority did not issue a decision to rebroadcast the channel, Okasha clarified in his lawsuit.
